Terms of Service

SMART SC EOOD (“Lyra Dream,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in Bulgaria, invites you to access and use our application (the “App,” including any web version of it we make available) and our dream analysis and psychological interpretation services made available through the App (“Services”), subject to the following Terms of Service (the “Terms”).
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH IS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE APP OR SERVICES.
1Description of Services
1.1 Service overview
Lyra Dream is an application that provides AI-powered dream interpretation and psychological reflection based on Jungian analytical psychology principles. Our Services include:
- Recording and analyzing your dreams through a conversational AI analyst.
- Generating personalized dream interpretations and summaries.
- Building an evolving picture of your life context and the people in your dreams to make interpretations more relevant over time.
- Providing “inner work” / integration suggestions derived from your interpretations.
1.2 AI-powered analysis
Our dream analysis is powered by artificial intelligence (large language models accessed via AWS Bedrock, which may be provided by Anthropic and/or OpenAI). You understand and acknowledge that:
- The AI is not a human therapist, psychologist, or medical professional.
- Interpretations are generated algorithmically based on Jungian psychological frameworks.
- The AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected responses.
- All interpretations are for informational and self-reflection purposes only.
1.3 Not medical or mental health services
THE SERVICES ARE NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT, PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING, OR ANY FORM OF THERAPY. The Services do not constitute professional psychological, psychiatric, or medical services. If you are experiencing mental-health issues, psychological distress, thoughts of self-harm, or any medical condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional or your local emergency services immediately.
2Eligibility
2.1 Age requirements
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
2.2 Capacity
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3Account registration and security
3.1 Account creation
To use the Services, you must create an account using Firebase Authentication (Email/Password or Apple Sign-In). You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@lyradream.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3.3 Encryption and Recovery Keys
The App offers encryption of your content protected by your password and a downloadable Recovery Key. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFEGUARDING YOUR PASSWORD AND RECOVERY KEY. If you enable encryption and lose both, your encrypted content cannot be recovered by us. (Note: accounts created with Apple Sign-In have no password; certain encryption features may be unavailable for such accounts.)
3.4 Account termination and deletion
We may suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or harms other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App.
4Dream credits and payments
4.1 Dream credits
Access to dream analysis is metered by consumable “dream credits.” One completed dream analysis consumes one credit. New accounts receive a limited number of free credits on signup. Additional credits can be purchased in consumable packs through the App.
4.2 Consumable in-app purchases
Credit packs are one-time, consumable in-app purchases (they are not a subscription and do not auto-renew). All payments are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. By purchasing credits, you authorise Apple to charge your selected payment method. Credits are a digital license to use the Services and have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money.
4.3 Refunds
Purchases are generally final. Because credits are consumable digital goods, they are non-refundable once consumed, except where required by law. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies; we do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084
4.4 Price and availability changes
We may add, modify, or discontinue credit packs and change prices. Changes apply to future purchases and do not affect credits you have already acquired.
4.5 Referral program
We may offer referral credits to users who refer others. Referral credits may be granted only when a referred user meets defined conditions (for example completing a first purchase), and the program may be modified or discontinued at any time. Referral credits have no cash value.
4.6 Abuse limits
To protect the Services, we apply reasonable technical limits (for example daily usage ceilings and per-session limits) independent of your credit balance.
5User conduct
5.1 Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:
- Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the App or any related system.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or abuse-prevention features.
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Services.
- Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or bypass the AI's operational constraints, or craft prompts designed to circumvent content or safety policies.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person, or infringe third-party rights, through the Services.
5.2 Content standards
When providing dream descriptions or other content, you agree not to include content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination; sexually explicit material; content that exploits minors; false information intended to harm others; or content that infringes intellectual-property rights. We may apply automated content-safety checks and may refuse to process content that violates these standards. In addition, if a session indicates a risk of serious harm to you or others, we may pause the session and display crisis resources instead of further analysis (no credit is charged for a paused session — see also the Privacy Policy on safety signals).
6Intellectual property
6.1 Our intellectual property
The App, including its design, features, content, software, and all related intellectual property, is owned by SMART SC EOOD and protected by law. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
6.2 Your content
You retain ownership of the dream descriptions and other content you provide (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, store, and analyse your User Content solely to provide and maintain the Services for you. We do not use your User Content to train AI models (see the Privacy Policy).
6.3 Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the Services may be used by us without any obligation to compensate you.
7Disclaimers
7.1 No professional advice
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND SELF-REFLECTION PURPOSES ONLY. DREAM INTERPRETATIONS AND PSYCHOLOGICAL INSIGHTS PROVIDED BY THE APP ARE NOT SUBSTITUTES FOR PROFESSIONAL MENTAL-HEALTH CARE, THERAPY, OR MEDICAL ADVICE. ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF A QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER WITH ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING A MEDICAL OR MENTAL-HEALTH CONDITION.
7.2 AI limitations
AI-generated interpretations may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any interpretation, and the AI may occasionally produce unexpected content despite our safety measures.
7.3 As-is basis
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7.4 No guarantee
We do not warrant that the Services will meet your specific requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable.
8Limitation of liability
8.1 Exclusion of damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SMART SC EOOD, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM your use or inability to use the Services, any unauthorised access to or alteration of your data, statements or conduct of any third party, or AI-generated content or interpretations.
8.2 Cap on liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
8.3 Essential purpose
THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY EVEN IF ANY REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
8.4 Consumer rights
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING MANDATORY STATUTORY CONSUMER-PROTECTION RIGHTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
9Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SMART SC EOOD and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or connected with your access to or use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of third-party rights, or your User Content.
10Dispute resolution
10.1 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions, and without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
10.2 Informal resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@lyradream.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally within sixty (60) days.
10.3 Arbitration agreement
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be finally settled by binding arbitration administered by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, conducted in Sofia, Bulgaria, in English — except where such arbitration is prohibited by, or you have non-waivable rights under, the mandatory law of your country of residence.
10.4 Class action waiver
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND SMART SC EOOD AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
10.5 Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
11General provisions
11.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
11.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
11.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it.
11.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
11.5 Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12Apple App Store additional terms
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply and, in case of conflict with the rest of these Terms, govern with respect to your App Store use:
12.1 Acknowledgment
These Terms are between you and SMART SC EOOD only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
12.2 Scope of license
The licence granted is a non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
12.3 Maintenance and support
Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the App. We are solely responsible for support.
12.4 Warranty
Apple has no warranty obligation for the App. Any claims relating to a failure to conform to warranties are our responsibility.
12.5 Product claims
Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product-liability, regulatory-compliance, and intellectual-property claims.
12.6 Legal compliance
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting,” and that you are not on any U.S. government prohibited-party list.
12.7 Third-party beneficiary
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
12.8 Third-party terms
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
By using Lyra Dream, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
